The safeguarding audit of the Presentation Sisters of Western Australia found that it has demonstrated compliance with 100 per cent of the indicators relevant to its operations under the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards. One recommendation has been provided to the Presentation Sisters of Western Australia to strengthen its safeguarding practices. There are no Priority 1 (high rated) recommendations for the congregation.
The safeguarding audit of the Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny in Australia (SSJCA) found that it has demonstrated compliance with 99 per cent of the indicators relevant to its operations under the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards. One recommendation have been provided to SSJCA to strengthen its safeguarding practices. There are no Priority 1 (high rated) recommendations for SSJCA.
The safeguarding audit of the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea (ISMAPNG) found that ISMAPNG has demonstrated compliance with 92 per cent of the indicators relevant to their operations under the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards. Nine recommendations have been given to ISMAPNG to strengthen their safeguarding practices. There are no Priority 1 (high rated) recommendations for MSAU.
The safeguarding audit of the Marist Sisters - Australian Unit (MSAU) found that MSAU has demonstrated compliance with 99 per cent of the indicators relevant to their operations under the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards. Three recommendations have been given to MSAU to strengthen their safeguarding practices. There are no Priority 1 (high rated) recommendations for MSAU.
Draft two (May 2021) of the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards, Edition Two expands the established framework for the safeguarding of children to include safeguarding requirements and practices for the protection of adults at risk.
The safeguarding audit of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference (ACBC) found that the ACBC have demonstrated compliance with 97 per cent of the indicators relevant to their operations under the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards. Six recommendations have been provided to the ACBC to strengthen their safeguarding practices. There are no Priority 1 (high rated) recommendations for the ACBC.
